Explosives substances forwarded by the Controller of Explosives of India and other material objects involved in Essential Commodity Act forwarded by various Courts in the State are examined in this Division. Any other articles, the examination of which is considered essential by the Court for the prosecution of crimes, are analysed in this division. Thus diesel oil, petrol, cement, kerosene, etc. were some of the articles, besides explosives and products of explosion, examined in the division. During the year 2024-25 25,244 cases comprising of 2190 articles were examined in this division.
